The five-touch follow-up after a review

Most follow-up fails because it depends on remembering. Decide all five touches on the day of the review and schedule them, and clients stay looked after without adding to your week.

The five touches

  • Same day: a thank-you with the written recap and next steps.
  • Day 3: answer any open question, or send the short explainer video you promised.
  • Day 10: a check-in on anything waiting on paperwork, the carrier or underwriting.
  • Day 30: a useful, non-sales note, such as a checklist or an article that fits their situation.
  • Next anniversary minus 60 days: book the next review.

Make it easy on yourself

  • Draft all five on the day of the review and schedule them.
  • Let an assistant or your AI employee prepare them, and approve each one before it goes.
  • Stop the sequence as soon as the client replies.
